Can a saxophonist play quietly during a networking reception?
Yes. At a reception the set stays background music you can talk over, and it only builds when the programme moves on to the party. The volume runs through the venue's or the DJ's system, so it is set there.
What happens during the speeches?
The saxophone steps back. Set times are agreed with you beforehand around the programme, speeches and awards included, and adjusted on the night if the schedule moves.
Does the venue need a DJ or a sound system?
A DJ or the venue's own system with a free input is all the saxophone needs. If there is neither, book sax and DJ as one act, which brings the sound.
How far ahead should we book for a Christmas party?
As soon as the date is fixed. Company Christmas and end-of-year parties fall on the same few December evenings, so those dates go first.
Does he play corporate events outside Vienna?
Yes. Vienna is home, and he plays across Austria and abroad, ten countries so far. Say where the event is, and you get a straight answer on what is possible.
How I work
Planning a company event?
I read every inquiry myself and reply personally, and I stay your one contact from the first message to the last set. Send me the date, the venue and the rough programme, and I fit the sets around it: the reception, the speeches, the dinner and the floor.
We’ve had the pleasure of experiencing Jovan at several events as guests, as well as working with him at our own events. Every experience has been a great success – musically, organizationally, and on a personal level. We can highly recommend him without hesitation.
